Is the VSA’s role more than just planning parties? What roles should it play?

Yes. Absolutely. The VSA does a lot more than party plan. As we've seen this year the VSA truly does represent the student body's voice to administration. As it should. I hope they take take this responsibility seriously.

0 of 3 VSA Presidents have been women.
8 of 14 VSA Exec members have been women.
6 of 26 House Presidents have been women (and 3 of them had to be women from Strong)!
2 of 12 Class Presidents have been women.
Did you know?
Since 2002-03, only 21 of 62 house presidents have been women
Of the last 10 VSA Presidents, 4 were women, 6 were men. Most recently, there are have been five consecutive male VSA presidents.
Of 53 VSA Exec Board members, 25 were women, 28 were men.
